Urban Ecologies is an ongoing series. These are samples from a larger collection. The project began during my time living in Edmonton, Alberta. Seeing Jack Rabbits loping along streets or grazing in the parking lots of downtown Edmonton became a catalyst for thinking in wider scope of the ways in which animals claim these cities as their habitats. In some cases these encounters feel like chance, anomalies, while at other times commonplace.
